If you are considering a preschool in the Asheville area, we are excited to introduce you to Fairview Preschool. Located just 10 minutes south of East Asheville, 10 minutes north of Gerton, 15 minutes west from Swannanoa, and 20 minutes east of Fletcher, we are convenient to I-40 in the scenic mountain community of Fairview, NC.

FPS provides a developmentally age-appropriate, hands-on learning environment for children ages 2, 3, 4 and 5. Classes meet September through May, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30AM-12:30PM. Fairview Preschool has both three day and two day options.

About Fairview Preschool

Fairview Preschool is a ministry of Fairview Christian Fellowship. The purpose of Fairview Preschool is to provide intellectual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual development of the whole child, within a Christian context. Each day we seek to meet the following objectives:

Our customized curriculum — which incorporates elements from Montessori and Waldorf educational philosophies — creates a structured environment in which children are both encouraged to learn through their own interactions and guided by Biblically based thematic learning units.

Learning Centers

Learning centers allow children to choose from a variety of educational options, encouraging exploration and creating a positive, fun attitude toward learning. We also learn and play outdoors as often as weather permits! Our students are offered opportunities to take advantage of additional learning opportunities at school in Spanish, computers, and soccer.

Special events throughout the school year provide focal points for the children. The anticipation of these special events reinforce our constant theme of learning-as-fun and are tied into our thematic learning curriculum and often correspond to and help celebrate holidays. We encourage parental/extended family involvement in all of our special events.

About the Director

Fairview Preschool director Chris Lance has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and has been ACSI certified. With many years teaching three, four, and five year olds, she has created a developmentally appropriate curriculum integrated with Biblical themes.

 

Registration is Open!

Fairview Preschool is a developmentally age-appropriate, hands-on learning environment for children ages 2, 3, 4 and 5. There are 2 days/week and 3 days/week options.

Class Schedules
All classes meet Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday from 8:30a - 12:30p.

Annual Pricing
2 Days/Week 3, 4, 5 year old class: $3,200
2 Days/Week 2, 3 year old class: $3,100

3 Days/Week 3, 4, 5 year old class: $3,300
3 Days/Week 2, 3 year old class: $3,200

Children in the 3/4/5 class must be potty trained. 3 year olds that are not potty trained will be in the 2/3 class.

 

Applying is Easy

STEP 1:
Fill out the application form below or call 828-338-2073.

STEP 2:
We'll reach out to you to tell you more about the school and begin the enrollment process.

STEP 3:
Pay the non-refundable $250 enrollment fee, and provide additional requested information.

The application fee for additional siblings is $200 per child. Re-enrollment for presently enrolled families is $200/additional child $150.
